I have had an Air Pistol for many years now, and it has always worked well until recently. The Air Pistol Fires off of small CO2 canisters that are concealed in the guns handle. It is semi-automatic with a "self-cocking" action. It's rounds are located in clips that slide into the top of the gun. The specifics of my Air Pistol are: - Black & Gold Plated - POWERLINE BB CAL. (4.5mm) - Model 400 CO2 BB - ROGERS, AR. 72757 The above is the make and model of my Air Pistol, and I'm hoping that maybe someone with experience will be able to help me identify what is wrong with the pistol. Recently, the CO2 canisters that are used to fire the weapon are not sealing completely when I insert them. I take a piece of plastic off the handle, and there is an opening underneath (and within the handle) where I insert the CO2 canister. On the Butt of the pistols handle is a screw that when turned, grasps the CO2 canister and pushed it up into the mechanism that pierces and seals the canister. Once its screwed in, the can has always sealed properly, and allowed the pistol to flawlessly fire. My problem now is that the CO2 canister no longer completely seals. Whenever I input a CO2 canister into the handle and try to screw it in, it no longer completely seals. The canister always gets pierced when I screw it in, but now it leaks until the canister completely empties. Even before it is completely emptied, the CO2 is not pressurized enough to allow the gun to fire at maximum capacity. So basically, once the canister is screwed in, all you can hear is the CO2 canister hissing until it is completely emptied. I'm asking the question with the hopes that someone out there may have experience with something like this, and possibly be able to help me realize what needs to be done. If anyone has an idea as to what the issue may be, I would really appreciate some insight. Also, if it can be fixed; what would the repair entail, would it be expensive, and where could I bring it to have it fixed, or if needed; where can I buy the necessary part? Thanks in advance for any help, and all/any insight will be extremely appreciated.... Read More »
